The Grids are Set for Prefinals in Sarno

October 24, 2024 – The wheel-to-wheel action continued today at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy. With one heat race for most classes yesterday, all classes saw race action today, and the results set the grid for tomorrow’s prefinals. With some drivers experiencing success and others heartbreak, we are less than two days away from crowning the 2024 RMC Grand Final Champions.

It was time to go racing at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy, as the 2024 RMC Grand Final heat races began today. After some rain on Tuesday that saw Micro MAX, Mini MAX, and MAX DD2 Masters qualify in wet conditions, the remainder of the classes qualified today under sunny and clear skies.

RMC Grand Finals On Track Activity Commences

The Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) Grand Finals 2024 are now underway in Sarno, Italy, bringing together the world's best karting talents from October 19-26.

This year’s edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Festival took the annual BRP-Rotax event for Micro MAX and Mini MAX drivers across the English Channel for the first time on the weekend of September 20-22 for some intensely-fought competition. The Warden Law Kart Club at Karting North East in the United Kingdom played host to the special event organised by Motorsport UK for the Rotax youngsters.

BRP-Rotax is pleased to reveal the location the 2024 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Festival for the Micro MAX and Mini MAX, in collaboration with Motorsport UK. Karting North East and Warden Law Kart Club, near Sunderland in the north of England, will be the first British venue to host this unique event for the youngest Rotax drivers on September 20 to 22, 2024. Supported by the Authorized Rotax Distributor for Kart in the UK, J.A.G. Rotax, prizes include RMC Grand Finals 2024 tickets for the Micro- and Mini MAX champions at the Rotax racing season highlight in Sarno, Italy from October 19 to 26.

BRP-Rotax is thrilled to announce that CIK-FIA Approval has been confirmed for the Rotax E20 electric powertrain. This makes the new generation power unit the first ever E-Kart to be awarded this level of certification in karting. Adding to this ground-breaking news, the Rotax E20 championship at the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy becomes the first CIK-FIA Approved International Series for Electrically Powered Karts worldwide in 2024.

The official chassis partners for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2024 have now been confirmed, as BRP-Rotax announces the manufacturers who will support all the qualified competitors with their brand new karts at the annual flagship event.
