On the race track in Mariembourg, Belgium, the international Rotax elite went all out again last weekend. The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy ushered in the second half of the season and brought the championship decisions a whole lot closer with the fifth and sixth rounds. 145 drivers from all over the world gave full throttle and fought for the victories in a total of five categories, sometimes in the most difficult weather conditions. In the end, familiar faces were joined by new names on the podium of the event.

Motorsport racer Luca Koester had an exciting season in 2022: The 25-year-old driver from Germany fearlessly took on international circuits, leaving a trail of success in his wake. After clinching the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy, Luca secured his ticket to the RMC Grand Finals in Portimão, Portugal. There, too, the Kart-Magazin.de reporter was among the top drivers, narrowly missing out on overall victory in the closing moments of the final. This coming weekend, the almost six-week wait for participants in the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy will finally come to an end. In Mariembourg, Belgium, the Austrian engine manufacturer's top-class racing series will kick off the second half of the season with the third race of the year. More than 150 competitors are registered on the entry list for the event. It’s no doubt that the racing action is expected to be thrilling on the 1,366-meter circuit in view of the progressing championship.

The championship duels of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy have begun. Last weekend in Genk, Belgium, the starting signal was given for the 2023 season of the international racing series of the Austrian engine manufacturer. 201 pilots from all over the world made their way to the challenging race track in Belgium and, after three action-packed days, crowned the first winners of the year.

The second running of the Rotax Winter Trophy has hit the spot in 2023, growing the two-round series to a total of 100 entries. With an increase in participants of 66.6% on the first edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Winter Trophy USA in Florida last year, the interest in the championship saw drivers coming from 14 different nations to compete for the titles and RMC Grand Finals tickets.

BRP-Rotax is proud to announce that the 22nd edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) successfully took place in Portimao, Portugal at the Kartodromo International Algarve (KIA) from November 19 to 26, 2022. With a record number of 394 Rotax racers from more than 60 nations, who earned their ticket during the 2022 season, the event also saw the biggest kart line-up ever in the history of the RMC Grand Finals.
