Once again, the bond that stretches across the global Rotax family is continued with this highlight of the racing season, where we will witness 394 drivers from across the world compete over the next week at a fantastic venue for the prestigious honour of becoming RMCGF champion.

Another milestone in the longlasting history of Rotax Karting took place this week: the 125.000th edition of a Rotax 125 MAX engine left the assembly line at BRP-Rotax in Gunskirchen, Austria. Introduced in 1997, the Rotax 125 MAX engine can proudly be named a success story.

We’re on the #roadtoportimao – together with 396 enthusiastic Rotax competitors from more than 60 countries plus their technicians, teams and supporters, for the ultimate showdown of the season. It is the celebration of the RMC champions and the drivers who qualify from around the world. This will be the biggest Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals to date in the 23-year history of this amazing karting event, which is uniquely LIKE NO OTHER championship in this sport.
It’s the fourth time that the RMCGF returns to Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve (previously 2012, 2015 & 2017) and the fifth occasion since Viana do Castelo 2006 in the north, that Portugal has been the host.

The 21st edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals took place at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit in Sakhir in the Kingdom of Bahrain from December 11th to 18th, 2021. After a long wait since the last RMCGF in Sarno, Italy, BRP-Rotax had several premieres, which excited not only the drivers but also all the participants and followers of the Live Stream.

This year’s Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals will crown the first ever E-Kart champion in the history of this prestigious racing event. 18 drivers from all over the world will have the chance to compete for the E-Kart title at the 21st RMC Grand Finals in Bahrain which will take place from December 11th to 18th, 2021 at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit in Sakhir.

BRP-Rotax is preparing a tour throughout Europe with the Rotax Project E20 e-kart including the DEKM races and stops at two races of the RMC EuroTrophy where you can win additional tickets for the RMC Grand Finals 2021 in Bahrain.
